Titans-Bruins to Tip Off 24 Hours of ESPN Hoops

Bristol, CT - Cal State Fullerton's non-conference men's basketball game at UCLA on Nov. 16 will tip off a 24-hour marathon of collegiate basketball televised live nationally on ESPN.

The game in Pauley Pavilion will begin at 9 p.m. Pacific time, which is midnight on Nov. 17 in ESPN's home base of Bristol, Connecticut, and 18 more games will follow to complete a full day of college hoops on the ESPN Family which includes ESPN2, ESPNU and Two women's games will be included and several games will overlap.

Last year's inaugural Opening Day marathon did not include games between 6 and 10 a.m. Eastern time but those slots will be filled this year by Monmouth at St. Peter's at 6 a.m. and Drexel at Niagara at 8 a.m.

Last year's midnight (EST) game was Massachusetts vs. Memphis and it produced ESPN's highest non-conference game rating of the year.

The Fullerton game is UCLA's season opener. The Titans open on Nov. 14 at home vs. Hope International.
