Cal State Fullerton will be the No. 6 seed in next week's Big West Conference Basketball Tournament at the Anaheim Convention Center. On Wednesday at about 8:30 p.m., the Titans will meet Cal State Northridge, which is the No. 7 seed after the Matadors blew an 18-point lead and lost in overtime to UC Santa Barbara, 82-76, Saturday night in Northridge. The Gauchos earned the No. 5 seed and will face No. 8 seeded UC Riverside Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The lowest remaining seed after Wednesday night will play No. 3-seeded Long Beach State at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The highest remaining seed will face No. 4-seeded Cal Poly at about 8:30 p.m.
First-place Pacific and second-place UC Irvine each earned two byes.
Fullerton, which wraps up its regular season Sunday afternoon at home vs. South Dakota State, swept the regular season series with the Matadors.
