Irvine, Calif. - Tip-off time for Cal State Fullerton's home Big West Conference men's basketball game against Cal Poly on Saturday, Feb. 24, has been moved to 1:05 p.m. to accommodate a live telecast by FSN Prime Ticket.
The Titans also learned today that their Feb. 22 home game vs. UC Santa Barbara also will be televised, locally on KVMD, with no change in the 7:05 p.m. tipoff. Both games were selected today as "best available" among the Big West schedules for those dates.
The 2006-07 Fullerton team, which has matched the best start in school history at 16-4 overall and 6-2 in conference, has doubled its television exposure this week. On Monday, the Titans were among a group of 28 mid-major schools included in the 14-game O'Reilly ESPNU Bracket Buster series for the ESPN networks. That game will be played on Feb. 17 at Wright State in Dayton, Ohio. Time to be announced on Feb. 5. Fullerton's previous television coverage this year consisted of games at UCLA and UC Irvine on FSN Prime Ticket and at Long Beach State at KVMD.
