Sean Williams remains in the Titan program for 2010-11 but he is not academically eligible to play...he is a physically impressive transfer from Syracuse who sat out the 2009-10 season... his reach from fingertip to fingertip measures 7 feet, 9 inches... played only 49 minutes in two seasons for the Orangemen after relatively unheralded career at Villa Park High School in California and Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, Massachusetts... father Sean Williams was Titans' starting center in 1991-92 and 1992-93 averaging 11.2 points and 6.0 rebounds for his career.

SYRACUSE: Appeared in 17 games over two seasons for a total of 49 minutes, scoring 6 points with 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.

NOTRE DAME PREP: Was rated 20th among graduating centers by Rivals.com and 28th at his position by Scout.com after playing at the tiny school in Massachusetts, which has won several national championships.

VILLA PARK HIGH SCHOOL: As a junior averaged 6.3 points and 3.0 rebounds with 50 blocked shots for a 29-5 team that reached the Southern California Regional Division II final.

PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 27, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland... parents are Sean Williams and Melyssa Rouse... has two brothers (Jamal and Melven)... his father played in 52 games for the Titans, 41 as a starter in 1991-92 (for Coach John Sneed) and 1992-93 (for Coach Brad Holland)... his father holds the school record for blocked shots in a single season with 66 in 1992-93 and his two-year career total of 107 trails only four-year letterman Tony Neal at 115... his father later appeared in the movie "Blue Chips" and played for the Harlem Globetrotters as Sean "Elevator" Williams, entering the Guinness Book of Records in 1996 by dunking on a basket 11 feet, 8 inches tall at their training site in Orlando, Florida... the younger Sean played for Pump and Run and SCA travel teams... African-American studies major... most memorable sports moment was hitting a game-winning shot... likes to walk on the beach.
