FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton men's basketball earned its third straight win on Saturday as they scored a season-high 86 points against Cal Lutheran (2-2) in an 86-58 victory. CSF (4-3) was led by junior guard Kyle Allman, Jr.'s 22 points and the bench scored 40 points on the night to give the Titans a boost.
Allman's 22 points was the game-high and his second-highest total of the season. He has scored in double figures in four straight games. Allman also grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists. Sophomore Jackson Rowe was second on the team in scoring with 15, he also hauled in four rebounds and blocked a shot.
Cal Lutheran was led by Kyle Ferreira who scored 17 points on 6-14 shooting. Blake Miles and Austin Cole each scored 11 points and KJ Moffett chipped in eight points.
There were six lead changes in the first half and the Titans were only up 40-34 at the break but they opened up the second period on a 7-0 run that effectively put the game away. The Titans shot 35-67 (52.2%) from the field, 5-18 (27.8%) from beyond the arc and 11-13 (84.6%) at the free-throw line.
The Titans hit the road to face the Portland Pilots on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. PT.
