Join Titans for Blue And White Scrimmage

FULLERTON, Calif. - The madness for the 2013-14 men's basketball season begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the annual season-opening men's basketball Blue-White scrimmage to help ring in the new campaign at Titan Gym.

The scrimmage is free for all who wish to attend, and will afford fans the opportunity to meet and greet members of the 2013-14 squad following the hour-long intersquad contest.

Pizza and T-shirts will be provided to the first 100 students in attendance.

In addition, fans that attend the scrimmage will receive a free ticket to Saturday's 7 p.m. soccer match at Titan Stadium as Cal State Fullerton hosts UC Irvine on rivalry night. Fullerton enters the match in a tie for first with Cal State Northridge at the top of the Big West Conference South Division standings. Prior to the match, CSF will honor the 1993 squad that advanced to NCAA Final Four. Fans in attendance will receive a pair of thundersticks while supplies last.

The Cal State Fullerton men's basketball squad returns two starters and six players overall for the 2013-14 season while welcoming eight new faces to the roster.

The Titans open the season with an exhibition at home on Saturday, Nov. 2 against Redlands at 6 p.m., before starting the regular season with four of its first five on the road, beginning on Nov. 9 at Montana State.
