FULLERTON, Calif. -- Cal State Fullerton Interim Head Coach Andy Newman and his staff will ring in the 2012-13 men's basketball season on Saturday (Oct. 27) with its annual Blue-White Basketball Scrimmage at Titan Gym.
Fans and supporters of the program are invited to the event which tips-off with the Titans on the court at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a barbecue at 1 p.m. Admission to the scrimmage is free, but tickets for the post-game luncheon and meet-and-greet are available for $25.

Cal State Fullerton returns two starters and five players overall on a roster complimented by three eligible transfers and a trio of newcomers. The All-Big West Conference backcourt of senior guards D.J. Seeley (first team) and Kwame Vaughn (second team) lead the Titans into the 2012-13 campaign after ranking among the Big West's best in numerous categories while 6-foot-9 center John Underwood looks to make a big splash in his second full season with Fullerton after appearing in 23 games for the Titans last year.
Eligible transfers Alex Harris (R-So., Northeastern), Sammy Yeager (R-Sr., TCU), and Darius Nelson (Fr., UTEP, eligible at the end of the fall semester) will be joined by a trio of newcomers in junior college transfers James "Deuce" Johnson (Central Wyoming College) and Marquis Horne (Salt Lake City CC) along with freshman prep schooler and Nevada native Jared Brandon.
