Houston, TX - Former Cal State Fullerton outfielder Aaron Rowand and his Chicago White Sox teammates are World Series Champions.
Rowand never made it to Omaha with the Titans as his three-year career fell between the 1995 and 1999 College World Series teams. The only previous former Titans to earn World Series rings are Mark Kotsay with the 1997 Florida Marlins and Dan Naulty with the 1999 New York Yankees, but neither of those players was on the post-season roster.
Rowand has given the Titans the "hat trick" in professional rings. Mark Collins won a couple of Super Bowl rings and Bruce Bowen has a pair of NBA championships bands for his fingers.
Congratulations to Aaron Rowand and the Chicago White Sox.
