That was the day the Titans learned that their former teammate Jon Wilhite was involved in a series car accident that killed three others including Angels pitcher Nick Adenhardt. The came had to be resumed the next day because of darkness on Apr. 9.
ROUSEY RETURNS HOME: Cal State Northridge skipper Steve Rousey pitched for Cal State Fullerton from 1982-84 under Augie Garrido. He compiled a 15-5 record and a 3.58 ERA and was part of the 1984 national championship squad.
