Fullerton, Calif. - The Cal State Fullerton baseball Diamond Club is pleased to offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of Goodwin Field history.
Rugged, age-worn pieces of the old outfield fence that stood from 1999-2010 have been packaged into a one of a kind Titan baseball memento for a small donation to the Diamond Club.
The old fence stood through a golden era of Fullerton baseball, and watched from behind the Titans as they compiled a 300-99 home record, won eight Big West championships, made seven College World Series and brought home a national title in 2004.
"This is truly a great opportunity which will never happen again," said fourth year Head Coach Dave Serrano.
"The dozen years the old fence was up saw some of the greatest chapters in Titans history, played by skilled student-athletes who embodied the `Titans way' of playing baseball in front of some of the most loyal and knowledgeable fans anywhere."
A limited number of fence mementos will be available on a first come, first served basis. To secure your piece of Goodwin Field history, visit the Diamond Club tent on the third base side during any Titan home games, or e-mail Kellie Cox at email@example.com.
Donations of \$75 are suggested for members of the Diamond Club or Titans Athletic Club. A \$100 donation is requested of non-members.
