MILWAUKEE – Former Titans Justin Turner and Dylan Floro are off to the World Series, as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 5-1 in game seven of the National League Championship Series, Saturday evening at Miller Park.
For Turner, it'll be his second consecutive trip to the World Series after helping the Dodgers get there last year. He's now tied with Aaron Rowand for the most World Series appearances by any former Titan with two.
For Floro, it's his first ever World Series appearance. He also becomes the seventh different Titan to participate in the Fall Classic.
Turner went 1-for-4 in the Dodgers' do-or-die game on Saturday. Overall Turner has batted .279 this postseason to go along with a homer, four RBI, four runs scored and 12 knocks overall.
Floro has been absolutely perfect out of the bullpen this postseason for Los Angeles. He's pitched in six games and hasn't allowed a run while recording five punch outs.
The Dodgers will take on the Red Sox in game one of the World Series, Tuesday at 5:09 pm PT in Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. The game will be televised on FOX.
