Baseball Season Opener Moved to Thursday at 7 PM

FULLERTON, Calif. --- Due to the high possibility of rain in the Southern California forecast, Friday's originally scheduled baseball season opener vs. Stanford will be pushed up to Thursday at 7 pm PT at Goodwin Field.

 

Gates will open at 5:30 pm PT, while ALL fans who have purchased tickets to the season opener will receive an email and/or phone call announcing the change at some point today (Wednesday, Feb 15).

 

All fans who have purchased single-game tickets for the season opener may use that same ticket for entry into Thursday's contest or will have the option to receive a full refund or exchange for another game. Fans who had the season opener as a part of their #TGIFRIDAY Package will be able to choose another game to attend of equal or lesser value.

 

Parking will be $8 for the game, while season ticket holder parking permits will be valid on Thursday

 

Promotions regarding Augie Garrido will go on as scheduled, while Fridays at Fullerton will be rescheduled to a future home game to be announced at a later date.

 

Game times for Saturday's and Sunday's contests vs. Stanford are still planned to go on as scheduled.

OPENING WEEKEND
In honor of Augie Garrido and his extraordinary career, a limited amount of Augie Garrido bobbleheads will be available to fans who purchase a "winning" program any time during Friday's game. "Winning" programs will be marked with a specific stamp that will allow fans to pick up their bobblehead at the various marketing tables around Goodwin Field. Programs will be $3 and available at various marketing tables around the field. Garrido will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch before Friday's game. The celebration will continue on Saturday, as fans will receive special edition Augie Garrido soda cups while supplies last. CLICK HERE to purchase your tickets!
