Tyler Peitzmeier was the busiest left-hander on the Titans’ staff with 16 appearances including one start • He worked 19 and 2/3 innings with a 1-0 record and a 2.75 ERA • Struck out 15 and walked seven • His victory came at Arizona State on March 28 in his lone start with season-high 3 and 1/3 innings pitched, four hits, one run in a 9-5 win • Strike out high was three vs. San Diego State on Feb. 28 • Did not surrender a home run.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a three-sport athlete, lettering three times for baseball Head Coach Kurt Finkey and the Chieftains at Yutan High School in Yutan, Neb. • Lettered all four years for the Chieftains’ basketball and football teams, while finishing at the top of his class with a 3.6 GPA • Was a three-time all-state pitcher that never posted an ERA above 1.10 • Recorded 68, 128 and 108 strikeouts his sophomore through senior seasons and finished with ERAs of 1.10, 1.09 and 0.68, respectively.
