Last year, Alysse McMillen set the new Cal State Fullerton pole vault mark for women's indoor track and field at 3.71 meters.

Over the last four years with the program, a total of 67 student-athletes from the women's indoor track and field and men's and women's outdoor track and field programs were named to their respective conference all-academic teams. Furthermore, Joshua Gordon, Aneesh Joshi, Nick Reynolds and Katie Wilson (twice) were named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team.

Gordon went on to be named the Big West Scholar Athlete of the Year (2014-15), marking just the fourth time a student-athlete from men's outdoor track and field has earned the award.
