Nominations for the second class of inductees into Cal State Fullerton's Titan Athletics Hall of Fame are again being sought. The biennial event will next be held on Oct. 27, 2007, in the Titan Student Union.
The inaugural class of inductees in 2005 consisted of Greg Bunch, Nancy Dunkle, Augie Garrido, Tami Elliott-Harrison, Susan LeFebvre-Wyman , Eugenia Miller-Rycraw and Tim Wallach. This event welcomed back a near capacity crowd of 500 alumni, family and friends.
Candidates may be outstanding former university student-athletes, coaches, athletic staff members or friends and supporters of Cal State Fullerton. The respective criteria:
&\#149; Student-athletes who have earned a 4-year degree and distinguished themselves as members of Fullerton varsity teams and last competed at Fullerton five or more years prior to the date of induction. In exceptional cases, former students who are non-graduates will be considered based upon the individual's experience at Cal State Fullerton and career achievements;
&\#149; Past Fullerton coaches with at least five years of service who have successfully distinguished themselves and their teams to truly reflect Fullerton 's mission;
&\#149; Past athletic administrators staff with at least five years of service who have achieved outstanding success in their tenure at Fullerton and serve as models to student-athletes with the traditions of honor, integrity and character or;
&\#149; Friends who have provided distinguished and sustained support of Fullerton athletics.
All nominees must be present to be honored.
