Fullerton, CA - The Cal State Fullerton athletics department and CSTV.com have teamed up to launch "FullertonTitans.com" (http://www.fullertontitans.com), which debuts Aug. 1 as the official website of Titan Athletics.
The new website features a drastic redesign, but remains a comprehensive resource for fans and media about Cal State Fullerton athletics.
"Partnering with CSTV.com will allow us to stay on the cutting edge of website technology," said Mel Franks, CSF's associate athletics director for media relations. "Their up-to-date hardware should prove more reliable and capable of new features. We also will be able to post event results more quickly and from more remote locations.
"The transition from www.titansports.org has been in the works for several months and hopefully will go smoothly. Like all web-based projects, it will be a work in progress. We hope to be up to full speed when Fall classes begin on Aug. 22. The old site will remain and will eventually become just an archives link."
Each of the university's 17 varsity athletic squads will have its own dedicated page, featuring team rosters, schedules, up-to-date statistics, record books, and the most recent news stories and releases. Links to university web pages and other sport-specific resources and websites will also be available through FullertonTitans.com.
More in-depth features will become available throughout the year.
