Chris Witscher joined the Fullerton staff in 2013 to take over the Titan throws program.

A Corona, Calif. native, Witscher started his coaching career at Occidental College in Eagle Rock, Calif. (2008-2012) before moving on to the D-1 level at Cal St Fullerton. 

In his first year at Cal State Fullerton, four student-athletes were named to the Big West Conference Academic All-Conference team.

In his five years at Occidental, Witscher’s student-athletes set five school records, broke one SCIAC record in women’s shot-put, earned four All-American honors, four conference champions, and one West Regional Athlete of the Year.

Witscher was a four- year letter-winner for California State University at Fresno. Four-time All-WAC Conference performer and hit the NCAA qualifying mark in Hammer and Discus in 2007 and 2008.

He graduated from Fresno state with Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology.  Witscher furthered his education at California State University, Long Beach with a Masters of Science in Sport and Exercise Psychology and Student-Athlete Development.
