Bill Sheehan joined the Titans in February 2018 as an athletics feature writer. He reports on Fullerton sports, especially the life stories of Titan student-athletes.
Sheehan worked for nearly 20 years as a news editor, copy editor and design editor at the Los Angeles Times. He was part of a 2004 Pulitzer Prize-winning staff award for breaking news reporting on massive wildfires in Southern California. He received a 2014 Times Editorial Award for print presentation.
Sheehan also worked as a news editor for the Daily Breeze in Torrance and other Copley Los Angeles Newspapers, and was a sports editor at the Palos Verdes Peninsula News.
While completing his undergraduate degree in journalism at Long Beach State, he served as the university's assistant director of sports information.
Sheehan resides in Long Beach.
